Birdland is quite simply musical heaven !! Whenever I’m in New York I quite simply “live” in Birdland !! It’s my favourite place in New York! I’m a drummer and to be xx able to hear music to that standard and get a chance to talk to the musicians afterwards is awesome! 1st New York holiday I had was in March 2006,last one was October 2023 which was my 15th holiday in New York! I can’t get enough of the place! I’m hopefully heading back out end of September into October this year for NYC adventure number 16! It quite simply-for me-does not get any better than New York! Oh,and I’m Scottish as well! 😝🤪

I went to my Dr about my bites, and he said make sure the insect repellent has 50%deet in it, I use the Boots one and it's great, I never get bit when using it on hols xx

Right since we’re sharing life updates, imma share some of mine - I bought a flat and have learned that living alone is terrifying I’m now a QA lead on a new game project at work (I can’t say what the project is, but it’s based on a very popular board game 👀) I went on a cruise in summer around the Mediterranean and it was a ton of fun - HIGHLY RECOMMEND That’s literally it lol, there’s bad parts too but I don’t wanna share them here lol

Oh here’s a story about a mosquito bite for you So last time me and my fam went, we all got bitten, but one of my mums bites on her leg turned into a blister that ended up being about the size of a golf ball (disgusting I know) Later that day we decided to go on the carousel (because we’re all children at heart) and as my mum swung her leg over the horse, it burst I like to think that to this day there’s still pus on that poor horse, so if you guys went on the carousel, I have some bad news for you…

Sounds like you guys drew the short straw with this hotel 😢 only one I’ve ever stayed in is the actual PortAventura one, but honestly from what I remember it’s been ok every time 😅

We are staying in a universal hotel for the first time in May, just 3 nights though then moving to Disney. Great to see vlogs of universal x

I went on jet2 to Zakinthos and it was great,I went there every year and jet2 have great staff❤
